SLOW COOKER RICE PUDDING

It’s getting cold here and I was in the mood for a warm comforting Indian dessert! Cuddled on the couch while watching my boy playing around, thought for some time and decided to make none other than the humble Kheer as we all Indians call it!!

SLOW COOKER RICE PUDDING

This is another slow cooker recipe guys!! Yes, I’m really liking the slow cooker way of cooking nowadays! Saves a lot of time and the food comes out perfect without burning!! U can also make this in stovetop but make sure to stir in between and check to prevent burning!

SLOW COOKER RICE PUDDING

This Kheer just needs very few ingredients some rice, whole milk, sugar cardamom and some nuts!! That’s it! Nothing complicated!! I prefer whole milk but you can add either fat-free or 2% milk too! This Kheer tends to thicken a bit while refrigerated, so just add a little milk and warm it up before you serve. You can also flavor it with saffron and add toppings of your choice! So what are you guys waiting for!! Just make it and enjoy!! Slurp Slurp!!
